Susan Goering has been Executive Director of the ACLU of Maryland since June 1996, before which time she was Legal Director. She has general oversight of all functions of the organization.

Deborah Jeon is the ACLU of Maryland's Legal Director. She has general oversight over our legal program, as well as large-scale litigation to promote racial justice, such as voting rights cases and lawsuits to combat police racial profiling.

David Rocah is a staff attorney at the Baltimore Office. He is engaged in general legal work, along with advocating on recent anti-terrorism legislation and other legislative issues.

Amy Cruice is the Legal Program Administrator. She oversees complaint investigation, assists with oversight of volunteers and law clerks, staffs advocacy campaigns, and places cases with pro bono law firms.

Persia Swift is the Legal Program Associate. She oversees the review of thousands of letters and calls for legal assistance each year, supervises our Civil Rights Complaint Line, and leads the investigation and fact gathering for possible cases.

Barbara A. Samuels is the Managing Attorney for the Fair Housing Project. She is also lead counsel on the ACLU of Maryland's class action lawsuit to provide African American public housing residents in Baltimore City choice in their housing locations.

Laura Corcoran is the Fair Housing Paralegal/Legal Program Associate.

Bebe Verdery is the Director of the ACLU of Maryland's Education Reform Project. The ACLU, representing thousands of Baltimore City schoolchildren who have not been getting their constitutionally-guaranteed education, aims to get better management of the City schools, more money to the City schools, and a better education to the City's classrooms.

JaCina Stanton is an Advocate with the Education Reform Project.

Cynthia Boersma is the Legislative Director. She coordinates the ACLU of Maryland's legislative program in the Maryland General Assembly, as well as other advocacy efforts.

Natasha Lewis is the Development Director. She oversees the organization's income generation efforts, including the major gift campaign, membership recruitment, and planned giving initiatives.

Paul Jolly is the Director of the ACLU of Maryland's Campaign for the Future. He joined the staff in May 2005.

Alison Long is the Operations Manager. She provides human resources support, researches and advises us on financial matters, monitors and reports on financial and investment performance, and generally makes sure the office runs smoothly.

Meredith Curtis is the Public Outreach Director. She coordinates our public outreach events and initiatives, as well as handling media relations and strategic communications.
