Women's Rights
The ACLU of Maryland wants to secure gender equality and ensure that all women and girls are able to lead lives of dignity, free from violence and discrimination. This means working towards a state where all women and girls have equal access to quality education, employment, housing, and health. We also seek to improve conditions, services, and access to community-based treatment, and to reduce gender bias in decision-making for girls caught up in the criminal justice system.
