Amber Taylor is the Digital Communications Strategist for the ACLU of Maryland. She manages the ACLU’s video production, email marketing, social media, website, and other digital content; and contributes to outreach efforts. Amber joined the ACLU in 2017 and was promoted to her current role in 2018. She was born and raised in Baltimore. She is a graduate of UMBC with a B.A. in Media and Communication Studies. Previously, she worked for the Teachers’ Democracy Project, a Baltimore education advocacy group, where she managed their administrative operations, social media campaigns and assisted with policy work. She worked to create a documentary entitled “Black Teachers' Matter”, which examines the 20% decline of Black teachers in Baltimore City.
