Board Member - Governance Committee Co-Chair

Boatemaa Ntiri-Reid is a returning board member and former ACLU of Maryland legal intern. Currently, as Director, Hepatitis, she leads programmatic and technical assistance initiatives related to viral hepatitis at the National Alliance of State and Territorial AIDS Directors (NASTAD) in Washington, DC. Prior to working at NASTAD, Boatemaa served as Chief of the Center for Viral Hepatitis at the Maryland Department of Health coordinating departmental and statewide efforts to prevent viral hepatitis and improve access to care. Boatemaa has worked at the nonprofit, local, state, national, and federal  levels as a health law attorney and public health practitioner. She received her B.A. from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor, M.P.H. from Columbia University, and J.D. from the University of Maryland School of Law. Boatemaa lives in Laurel, Maryland and is from Michigan.
