Ellen Hutton is a development specialist for the ACLU of Maryland. She manages a portfolio of foundation funders, playing a key role in ensuring the Development team meets fundraising goals and increasing contributed revenue to the organization.

Before joining the ACLU in 2020, she served as Development Coordinator for the Maryland Center on Economic Policy, Communications Director for a successful Maryland State Delegate campaign, and a Refugee Casework Intern for the International Rescue Committee in Baltimore, MD. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from Towson University and a Master’s degree in Global Affairs and Human Security from University of Baltimore. She is a lifelong Marylander and a resident of Baltimore City.
