Bio
Tierra Bradford is the senior policy counsel at the ACLU of Maryland. Tierra has a strong passion for social justice and advocating for policies that improve the livelihood of ALL people. Over the years, Tierra has honed her skills in legislative analysis and policy advocacy, developing subject matter expertise in criminal legal reform and voting rights. Overall, her experiences have made her proficient at overseeing campaigns, and executing a vision for change.
Since graduating law school from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, she has held policy roles at Common Cause, Common Cause Maryland, ACLU PA, and The Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights. At the Leadership Conference, she facilitated the Justice Taskforce, a coalition of justice focused national organizations. She has been interviewed in a number of news outlets including USA Today. Tierra received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Hampton University.
