Montgomery Chapter Meeting

On Wednesday, September 12th, we are hosting our next full chapter meeting from 7 - 9 pm at the Silver Spring Civic Building. We will be discussing:

Mid-Term Elections - Every Vote Counts...

We will discuss strategies and numerous options for what each of us can DO as ACLU MoCo Chapter members to make a difference in the lead up to the elections. We'll touch on foreign influence in our elections, including voting machines, results, and voter registration databases. And we'll be doing this in the spirit of "ACLU People Power" and focus on voting strategies in collaboration with our organizational allies.

Speakers at the meeting will provide specifics on how you can:

  1. Support Get-Out-the-Vote (GOTV) activities between the September 12th meeting and October 13th, including voter registration.
  2. Distribute voter information materials or campaign and support materials for your specific candidates.
  3. Help voters access early voting from October 25th to November 1st.
  4. Help voters access the polls on November 6th.
  5. Participate in election administration and observation efforts before, on, and after November 6th.
Do you want to become a voter registrar?
