On Wednesday, January 9th, we are hosting our next full chapter meeting from 7 - 9 pm at the Silver Spring Civic Building. Join us as we start 2019 out right - with strategic partnerships, vital dialogue, and meaningful action. Here's what we'll be discussing.
Agenda Summary:
- Fair elections:
- how to expand both voting access and integrity; and
- potential voting improvements, including ranked choice and reducing wait times.
- Support asylum seekers:
- lend a hand to help SURJ (Showing Up for Racial Justice) National, as they provide vital support for asylum seekers right here in Maryland and other part of the DC metropolitan area. See more information below to find out how you can help!
