There is no data that police stopping and searching people for the allege smell of marijuana is an effective tool in seizing guns.

We have receipts!

We filed a public information act request and local government agencies confirmed that there is no data connecting gun seizures to stops and searches from the smell of marijuana.

Don’t let your Maryland legislators repeal the law they passed year to ban police from using the allege smell of marijuana to stop and search people.

It would lead to police continuing to disproportionally harm Black and Brown Marylanders.
