The ACLU of Maryland’s Know Your Rights program informs Marylanders of their rights so they can make informed decisions, be good witnesses when violations occur, and know their options for taking action. The ACLU has plenty of resources available below, including information about your rights in police encounters, immigrants’ rights, students’ rights, the right to vote, and more. You can also request an ACLU Know Your Rights training, which is a two-hour participatory training with legal information, questions and answers and role-playing exercise. Please note: the requested training must take place in the state of Maryland.
